Maybe.. they rounded up tons of names over time, and then slammed the ban hammer on all of them at once. Perhaps thats why we always saw the ''same ones'' running around for awhile.

maybe with GW2 not far away they felt that they have enough gold in reserve to last them to GW2 so they packed up and moved on to another game?

SO much people so worried about bots!

Sorry they wouldnt be there if buyers of in game gold would be punished severely. Then u wouldnt need to ban bots, just the gold buyers. Any transfer of gold to accounts (from accounts that are flagged as goldsellers) would be subject to ban. I bet no one would buy anymore.

This would be awesome giving the botter no time to react. Shutting down all of them all at once (would have loved to hit execute on the command)

Whatever it is, I'm glad the bots are gone from those places. Most likely, I think ANet did something about it.

i did some recon and found that on some of the gold selling sites, they state that they are "upgrading their system" and they will be back soon with more cheaper gold.what "upgrading" means i dont know, maybe they got accounts banned and are looking for accounts to steal or there was a strike at the sweat shop and they are looking for more people to force into slavery.

either way dont worry they will be back soon enough you can count on that.

no, the bots been gone for about a week or so.... use to be around 100 non stop circling necros in the fist area / mission in nightfall....

i origionaly zoned around about a week ago, looking for where to get unidents from... i try to buy from the source, rather then towns, u get better stuff.... that was when i noticed the huge amount there use to be everywhere gone.... my final stop was the first mission city, so im thinking anet did yet another mass ban on them..... give it a week, they will all be back
